- Who can access the Library's Research Databases?
-
You can access these resources if you:
- are a current Pacific University faculty, staff, or student member.
- have your activated Pacific University-assigned account (PUNet ID) and password. Any other account or E-mail address will not work. Contact the TIC at help@pacificu.edu or call 503-352-3132 to check the status of your PUnet ID account.
- have Internet access from an off-campus location.
- Research Databases Use Restrictions
-
Most of the resources listed on the Electronic Journals and Research Databases pages are subject to a variety of restrictions on access and use.
For example, downloading excessive portions of these resources is usually prohibited. Also common is a restriction on the electronic redistribution of information. Posting material downloaded from these resources to a listserv would, for example, be considered to contravene the license agreements that allow us to access them.
In addition, these resources are intended for academic or research purposes as opposed to commercial uses.
Need more help? If you have any questions about your intended use of these resources, please contact Lynda Irons, Electronic/Information Services Coordinator at larremol@pacificu.edu.
